Terms of Service

The terms and conditions that govern your use of the Aviators Flight Academy website and training services.

Last updated: April 2025

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Aviators Flight Academy website or enrolling in any of our flight training programs, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

2. Services Provided

Aviators Flight Academy offers flight training programs, ground school instruction, and related aviation education services. Specific program details, pricing, and scheduling are communicated directly with enrolled students and are subject to change.

Completion of any program is subject to student performance, FAA medical certification, written exam results, and checkride outcomes. Aviators Flight Academy does not guarantee certification results.

3. Enrollment and Payment

Enrollment in a training program requires completion of an enrollment form and agreement to the program's payment terms. All fees, deposits, and payment schedules are outlined at the time of enrollment.

  • Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in your enrollment agreement
  • Flight hours are billed based on actual Hobbs or tach time as applicable
  • Pricing is subject to change with reasonable notice

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

We understand schedules change. Flight lessons must be cancelled or rescheduled with a minimum of 24 hours' notice to avoid a late cancellation fee. Repeated last-minute cancellations may affect your training priority and scheduling availability.

5. Student Responsibilities

Students are responsible for:

  • Maintaining a valid FAA medical certificate for the appropriate pilot certificate
  • Completing required ground study and pre-flight preparation before each lesson
  • Arriving on time for scheduled flights and ground sessions
  • Following all FAA regulations, airport rules, and Aviators Flight Academy operating procedures
  • Reporting any medical conditions or medications that may affect flight safety

6. Safety Policy

Safety is our highest priority. Our certified flight instructors (CFIs) have full authority to cancel or terminate any flight if conditions — weather, aircraft airworthiness, or student readiness — do not meet safe operating standards. No flight will proceed under unsafe conditions, regardless of scheduling.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and course materials — is the property of Aviators Flight Academy and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without express written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

Aviators Flight Academy is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or services. Aviation training involves inherent risks, and students participate with full understanding and acceptance of those risks.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Los Angeles County, California.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes take effect upon posting to this page. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
